The busiest real estate portal in Canada; Realtor.ca (approx. 12 million visitors /month) recently released some interesting stats on what people search for when they are looking for a property in Squamish. Three Bedrooms (3+ = 30.3%) and two bathrooms (2+ = 54.7%) House (77.5%) on 1+ acres (36.8%) of waterfront (31.1%) land with an ocean view and a pool (7.4%). Sounds pretty impressive.

Unfortunately, the price of such a property won’t be found in the most popular Minimum Price of $500,000 (8.7%) or in the third most popular choice is $1,000,000 (6.2%). The most popular Maximum price is $600,000 (7.3%) and third most popular is $1,000,000 (7.2%). This sounds like a difficult property to find in Squamish but it’s always nice to dream. Especially if you are a Repeat Buyer (46.3%) aged 25 – 34 (30.4%) Male (52%) or Female (48%) that likes to search for homes on their Mobile Phone (62.4%) and occasionally share them on Facebook (65.2%) Squamish.RealEstate will continue to deliver interesting news, statistics and industry trends.
